Story: When I was seven years old, my father lost his job. Me and my family were all, devastated. It was a huge shock to all of us after all. I noticed I was still able to buy anything I desired, without having to worry about money just like before, when my father had his job. I started to ask questions to my parents about how everything felt the same as before despite the huge shift in our lives. My dad then explained to me, it was all because of his saving funds and financial planning. Story: Since childhood I showed interest in collecting coins and as I grew up the same habit increased as I used to fill my money box. Then, I went to University abroad for 5 years and as I came back the first thing my parents asked me to open a jar which was full of coins, they had been collecting the coins for me for the last 5 years while I was in college. They encouraged me to start saving the same way but in the bank and in 2013 at that time the prize was 1 million DHS so I chose the National bonds hoping one day I would win the Million DHS. Story: I’ve started to save with a small amount: 350 dhs I guess. After I bought a car and had to pay loan I decreased it to 100 aed, but still I wanted to savea bit. It’s great that every month some small amount of money is going to my savings, cause I’m very unorganized person and I can’t save money. Then I had some emergency so I withdraw some amount. But now I want to keep on doing it. Few times I’ve won some small cash amounts. Idea of National Bounds is great and it helps to save money without noticing it.
