Story: New hope in a new place called to be home—- Dubai,UAE. As I start my journey in UAE there’s a lot of fear in my heart. I dont know where to start especially on savings.. but when we had one meeting in the ministry of human resources and emiratisation for the new employees of a private sector this is how I learned about the National Bonds. My salary is not that high so I just choose the 100 aed savings per month and if I have extra that’s the time I’ll just add up which is so easily because I downloaded their app so just one click you can add your bonds. I won three times for the 50 aed and recently won 100 aed. Yes,It’s just a small amount but everytime I receive a notifications or a message in my phone that I won its like I won a million or a tesla even just a small amount. It brings a smile on a tiring day from work and a hope that someday you can also have that good car or a million. And if not atleast you have a savings. I choose this photo because this is the start of my journey to UAE.

Story: I Started my journey with National Bonds in 2018 which was due to a bonus I had gotten on my job and had some excess funds which i did not want to be kept in my bank account as idle money. I had trust in National bonds given that it is a government owned entity and it inspired me to grow my portfolio little by little. more details on my video testimony ! Regards Huzaifa

Story: I came from a simple family where my parents tried very had to make ends meet. I graduated in college through scholarships. We had a tough battle trying to win over poverty. Out of 5, I’m the only one who was able to finish college. I think I’ve experienced all the hardships in life - from worrying what to eat for the day, walking to school because I had no money to pay the bus, sleeping my hunger off, to repeating my clothes until its worn off. But these things didn’t stop me from reaching my dreams. I studied hard to keep my scholarships until I graduated. I finished college and, after that I immediately looked for a job and ten months after I saw myself seating in a plane going to Dubai at the age of 21. 9 years after , here I am working at one of the most well known company. If people were to ask me if I’ve reached the “my rags to riches story” yet - I’d definitely say “not yet” but I’m already successful. Successful because I am happy. I am doing what I love. I am healthy. So there, I am not rich but I’m successful. P. S. But we’re in high hopes that National Bonds will make us literally “rich” through our savings.

Story: I am an expat from the Philippines (7 years in the UAE), a Certified Public Accountant by profession, and a breadwinner who wanted a comfortable life for my family. Living abroad has changed my mindset about money, thus I learned how to save and invest what I earned. My first investment was a Life and Health Insurance. I believe, we need to protect ourselves and our loved ones from unforeseen events of our lives. When I almost doubled my salary, I invested in a Real Estate Property, a Condominium in the Philippines. I have it rented so it earns while I’m paying the amortization. Then while earning, I set up an Emergency Fund worth 3 times of my monthly salary and diversified this money into three, so it won’t just be sitting in the bank. 1st portion- I opened an account in National Bonds since March 2019 and haven’t withdrawn that till date. I earned interest and even won! 2nd portion- I invested in a Corporate Bonds which will mature in 2022 and with interest too! I kept the last portion in my savings account for easy access in times of need (such as when we got affected by the Pandemic). I get to enjoy travelling as I also set up a Travel Fund. Keep in mind that we need to be happy while making a living. My goal is to retire at 40 (I am now 32). I wanted to achieve financial freedom soon to enjoy life while I still have time and energy. 😊
