Story: I would like to become a National Bonds millionaire with a mission to use my blessings to share with others, especially the animal welfare movement. I started my animal rescue journey in UAE, in Abu Dhabi year 2015. Even when we moved to Dubai we have saved countless cats, dogs, and even rabbits while being active members of the rescue community who dedicate our own time and money toward animal welfare. We spread awareness on #AdoptDontShop, treat sick strays, work together to find new homes for abandoned pets, and engage in stray feeding and Trap Neuter Return programs to control the population and keep the stray cats healthy that help UAE keep rodents at bay which helps the natural ecosystem. While we also actively support other charities that help less fortunate humans at church or embassy or other countries in distress, the animal welfare movement is very close to my heart. I believe a lot could be done in the UAE to educate the residents on the importance of being good citizens towards Earth and its creatures. If I become one of National Bonds’ millionaires my first priority is to dedicate a portion of my earnings to many of the charities in the UAE. Here I am pictured at one of the Walk for Animals in Dubai while feeding one of the community cats in Zabeel Park. I would love to give back to this community who work endlessly and selflessly. We are all grateful because it is so rewarding when we give a voice to the voiceless.

Story: I’m the eldest between me and my brother and the responsibilities to help my parent is in my shoulder. My mom and my dad they both uneducated they both don’t have a good job the reason why my parent can’t support my education. But everything change when I started work in Dubai. My responsibility became more and I the only one who shoulder all the expenses of my family and I have to think to save money for my son’s future. I don’t want my son to experience what bad experience I have because of our poverty. The first wave of pandemic I lost my job and I was very depressed and worry about my family how they will survive now I loss my job. God is good after a few month answer pray I got a job then that time I start my saving in national bond I don’t even spend single dirhams to save money. Saving money most of time I forgot my own need or the right word is i can’t afford to buy for me because my needs is not included in the budget. The life was so lonely and hard to work alone and only you nothing else but you and then the pandemic come to the reasons I can’t see my family back home because I can’t pay my tickets expenses even i want to be with them. I’m trying to be happy and looking for the bright side of life . National bond help me to save and give me hope and chance that maybe one day everything will gonna be ok .

It was a tough time and it is difficult to sustain the consistency of saving. When crisis came and pandemic was ubiquitous I thought of my future. It is a big decision I have to offer for my self. Story: I was a Christian when I was young, had a dream about Islam and did some research, became a muslim. Had to leave home and parents to start a new life all alone, faced a lot of struggles along the way. During the course, I worked hard at my Snooker game that I loved so much. Finally I got the break in 1992, when I played the Finals with the National Champion in Karachi. Got a chance to come to Dubai through my journey with Snooker and started working here since 1998. Got married in 1999, was Pakistan No.4 in Snooker in 1992, became No. 6 in Dubai in Snooker in 2000. Later on due to work and commitments, had to leave Snooker, started learning Microsoft Excel, within a few years, started teaching Excel and have never stopped. Life is a journey of hardships, but never give up is my Motto.
